As the UK’s leading custom sportswear & promotional item brand, we are thrilled to release our new universal logo and revamped colour scheme along with an all-new tagline, to be used from today.
This revamp has been carefully put together to reflect renewed brand philosophies, while providing a clearer identity across all products and media.
It also signifies a momentous shift in commercial focus for the brand.
Following the revolutionary news in October 2018 that Scimitar were to launch a 100% recycled fabric for custom running vests, cycling jerseys and technical t-shirts, the brand is undergoing an environmental and ethical makeover.
We see it like this. In a time of environmental importance, businesses of all sizes and sectors need to step up. We see the launch of our recycled fabric and the shift in focus of the Scimitar brand as a bold, pioneering move.
We want to spearhead the sportswear revolution and lead the industry into a new era of responsibility, sustainability and environmental thinking.
This is reflected perfectly with our all-new brand tagline, as we look to innovate the sector and Break Boundaries™.
It doesn’t stop at recycled apparel. Scimitar packaging has been overhauled to conform with stringent recycled standards, so our new poly-bags are made from recycled material; as are the cardboard boxes used for transporting apparel orders.
Additional steps such as using non-toxic ink & gas purification methods in our production processes supplement the ethical shift. Freight shipping is encouraged over air shipping, while excess products and unwanted clothing items are donated to developing nations.
As part of the change in focus, we are committed to building a portfolio of (fully-certified) recycled products, while growing our environmentally-friendly production methods by 2021.
What does this mean for the online shop and our licensed products? Naturally, this renewed focus and rebrand will have an impact on the direction for our award winning retail range. We will be revealing plans for the retail arm of our business very soon, as we look to shake up the world of technical sportswear.
